Seventh Floor Serenity: Updated 3BR with OceanFront Private Balcony @ The Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort

The condo location and amenities were nice. My kids really enjoyed the multiple indoor and outdoor pools and the water slide. The condo was mostly as expected. It seemed clean and had everything we needed for our stay to get us started. We had a text from the condo owner before we arrived letting us know they had someone installing a new dishwasher which wasn't going to be complete by check in. This was not an issue for us, but we did appreciate the heads up and the new dishwasher. They were finishing up when we arrived in the condo. They were polite and not an issue at all while we got our bags unpacked and settled in. The location was great with the outdoor bar and restaurant for easy drinks and lunches when we were at the pool. The shops next door were also great for dinner options, ice cream, and picking up any small necessities. We also enjoyed a concert next door one evening and fireworks from our balcony afterward. It was also nice being able to park on the 7th floor of the parking garage and be right near our room for easy packing/unpacking. The balcony was small but had a nice view. The child lock at the top of the sliding doors did not work which wasn't great having younger kids in the room. Not only does it keep the kids safe inside, but the way the balconies are so close someone could come over from the next door balcony if they really wanted so it would've been nice if the sliding glass doors locked. This feels like a pretty big safety concern that will hopefully be addressed ASAP. There were 2 small washer & dryers, but only 1 dryer was working. A few days in the dryer stopped working. We messaged Joe & Mandy and they had a handyman out within 20-30 minutes. Once he showed up the dryer was working again, but it did stop a few more times through our stay (maybe overheating because it would work again after awhile). That was frustrating (along with the size of the washer and dryer which fit maybe 3 beach towels and took multiple drying cycles to get anything dry), but I really appreciated how quickly someone was able to get to our unit to take a look. It may be time to update the washer and dryer though. The beds were comfortable enough, and plenty of pillows were provided. A few extra blankets in the closets would have been a nice touch as my kids got a little colder in the evening or when they came in from the pool. The dressers and nightstands could be updated as some of the drawers were stuck and others were falling out which was a bit annoying. The condo had a few small lawn chairs, beach towels, and I believe a pack n play which were all nice touches. Communication was great with condo owners and issues brought to their attention were solved very quickly. We would definitely consider staying here again especially with a few updates.

The outdoor kid pool was great for our toddler. Our family, preferred to go to the beach which was easy to access and had chairs/ umbrellas, and surfboards that we rented. I wish the facility had a larger exercise room. I worked out from 7-8am and most days there were 6-8 people there which meant that I had to wait to use dumbbells, treadmills, and exercise machines.

The property was very nice, kid friendly. This is a Wyndham Hotels & Resorts property, I had high expectations. The Room has seen wear and tear, Time to renovate. Couches were worn, Beds were nice, pillows needing update. Shower does not have any pressure. They use sorry trash bags. Went to empty trash it ended up on the floor....... no way to spend a vacation. To the owner, If you have a high end property, getting 1000.00 for 2 nights Don't be cheap on the supplies. I did send a note to the owners and they responded. I hope future guest have a better experience. I would not rent this again, I would just go to the Hilton garden inn on the beach in Ormond.

The location and amenities were really good. Had a great time and Joe was an awesome host.

It was ok
