Breathtaking Oveanview 2BR @ Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort #2220

Our family loved our time in Daytona! Ocean Walk was the best place for us!! Positive: The beds were super comfy, the living and dining rooms were spacious and wonderful. The resort as a whole was great!! Negative: Just little things.. some parts of the room could’ve been cleaner; could have bigger tvs; hot water wasn’t going to the big tub; not the greatest balcony view. Other than that, everything was awesome.

Overall, this is a great place to stay, and we had a wonderful week. Positive: Location was awesome! The convenience to the beach,stores, and restaurants was perfect. The view from both balconies were also great!! Negative: I believe a little extra attention to some of the finer cleaning details would elevate the guest experience even further. Addressing a few areas that appeared to have been missed during turnover would help ensure the condo consistently meets the high standards guests expect.

The best stay so far Positive: My kids and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. My kids had so much fun they’ve convinced their grandparents to take them back. One thing I didn’t know that this is the highest rated resort in Daytona beach as well. The host communication was amazing. The hosts responded in a timely manner and were patient with any questions I had. I didn’t need to go out and purchase anything because the hosts provided the basics. No to mention the hosts provided almost every cooking utensil known to man (I love to cook so the kitchen was my favorite)The staff were amazing as well. Only one staff member rubbed me the wrong way however it was no biggie and did not affect me and my children from enjoying our stay. The condo was HUGE. Way bigger than we expected. The atmosphere felt safe as well. I forgot my daughter’s stroller by the pool and the next morning when I checked out i the staff had located it. I Highly recommend especially if you love peace and enjoying your vacation. Negative: Not too much the property. Just as a woman of color me and my family received a lot of stares. So I would say people of color should be prepared for stares but it’s not that big of a deal to make the entire experience bad. Majority of everyone were friendly and outgoing.

This was our second year staying in one of the rooms Joe manages and it defiently did not disapoint!!!! Joe is always quick to respond to any questions we may have and will do anything to make your vacation stay the best it can be!!! We had a little hiccup this year and had to stay a couple extra days and Joe helped us out so we had one less thing to worry about. We will forever use Joe for our stays in Daytona!!!
